小作文:表格，澳大利亚三个城市2006年和2010年不同房子在所有房子中所占比例的变化

大作文：Some people think the government should ban dangerous sports. Others, however, believe that people should have the freedom of choosing sporting activities they like. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

1. 本次考试难度一般，小作文回归数据分析类题型;大作文依然回归到考生们所熟悉政府职能类话题。

2. 意料之中，8月的第二场雅思写作考试小作文依然中规中矩-数据分析类之表格。但是对于很多考生来说，遇到表格也很畏惧，因为数据多而抽象，且趋势变化也不 明显。这个时候我们要做的就是去挑选数据，对于这一幅图而言，既要注意同种房子所占比例随着时间的改变，又要注意同年不同房子所占比例的比较。类似范文可 见《最新高分范文书》第七版17页。

3. 应了上次的预测，大作文部分回归argumentation类，而且再次考察到政府职能类话题。一些人认为政府应该禁止危险的运动(A)，而其他人认为人们有权自己选择运动(B)。笔者给出一些possible answers:

A观点：保证了大家的生命安全 guarantee the life safety/security of professionals and amateurs因为类似于bungee jumping, car race之类的dangerous sports通常发生在较为危险的场所或者包含高风险(take place in hazardous surroundings or require people to deal with high level of risks)且为致死的重要原因( and have been reported to be the predominant cause of the deaths in these games)

B观点：禁止人们参加危险的运动就是剥夺了他们的选择权(Forbidding people’s participation in these sports would deprive them the freedom of choice.)这是他们的自由，我们没有理由去限制他们( Provided it is their personal decision to play any sports games, there is no reason to restrain them)

考试预测

1) 8月雅思写作考试小作文应该以数据分析为主，烤鸭们多重点关注动态图的语言表达和构思，重点关注一下饼图(仅1月出现过)和一直高频的线图和地图(历史变迁类)。

关于大作文，重点关注：政府职能(经久不衰)媒体和教育。预测只是辅助，大家常考话题还是要多写多练，加油!
